There was some confusion last year about writing messages to the kids. To be clear, your artists can write messages on the backs of the portraits such as "I hope you enjoy your portrait."
However, what we want to avoid is writing messages that request responses from the kids or otherwise create the illusion that a permanent relationship is forming. For example, there was once a child who wrote back to an artist asking to be adopted.
The best is to simply attach a photo of the artist on the backs of the portraits, because the kids love to see who made them! Next
