Writing Exchange

- EST. 2020 -

This exchange will end on Oct. 16, 2020

To unite youth during COVID-19 pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has been a traumatic experience for youth around the world. Our new Writing Exchange will help children and teens process the experience together, no matter how far apart they may be. In this exchange, we invite students in the U.S. and around the world to share their thoughts, feelings, and hopes for the future through writing of all kinds.

There is no cost to participate in this program. As a small nonprofit organization that depends on contributions to operate, we do encourage all participating schools to donate just $3 per student. However, schools worldwide are welcome to participate even if they are not able to donate.

The Process

Register online here to tell us you would like to participate. We will then email you instructions and a writing template so you can begin.

Write

Using the writing template and prompts we provide, ask your students to write one page as a story, letter, essay, poem, or whatever fits best for your group.

Exchange

Follow our instructions to upload your students' submissions and we will exchange them one-to-one with students participating in other states and countries!

Teachers and students can participate at any time and participation is free!
